OBJECTIVES

1. To assist and give the necessary support to widows and orphans of the Rwanda war that commenced in October 1990 for the betterment of their welfare.

2. To teach and encourage self-reliance among the aforesaid categories of people.

3. To facilitate orphans and handicapped in getting free education.

4. To provide Shelter for the most vulnerable members;

5. To promote national reconciliation especially among women and the Rwandese Community at large;

6. To educate and enlighten women about their rights and of their children, and how to protect and defend them.

7. To grant widows and traumatized children with a psycho-social care.

8. To educate Rwandese peoples especially women, causes and prevention of AIDS and how to care for the victims in their families.

STRATEGIES

1. Identification of the target group.
2. Elaboration of projects and looking for funds.
3. Teach women how to work together by forming small groups.
4. Helping widows in identifying income generating projects.
5. Sponsoring guardianship and adoptation of orphans.
